Post Malone’s Murder Circus Narrative

The centerpiece of Post Malone's Murder Circus is a travelling carnival formerly led by a sharply dressed Ringmaster. It travelled to the South to relieve rubes of their money and quickly acquired a sinister reputation.

Theft, kidnapping, fraud and murder were all on the bill along with the regular circus acts, and soon the Circus was left to play venues where the audiences weren’t so picky – or so moral. But a HelioStone was gifted to the Ringmaster, a cursed artifact that has corrupted the Circus and all who come near it. Moved by its malign influence, the Murder Circus has manifested in the Louisiana wetlands and appeared in the Mammon’s Gulch, bringing a host of new threats for Hunters to face.

The former Ringmaster turned Deposed King is on the chase to track and destroy the HelioStone. And he brings others along with him – bounty hunters, desperadoes, and you.

Post Malone's Murder Circus event begins on December 12th 2024 and runs until February 10th 2025. Players can download the update on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Hunters, be there, when the curtain rises!

About Hunt: Showdown 1896

Hunt: Showdown 1896 is the new era of the competitive first-person bounty hunting game, packing the thrill of survival and the reward of profit into a horror match-based format. Set in Colorado and the Louisiana Bayou in 1896, the game boasts a mixture of PvP and PvE elements that create a uniquely tense experience. It's not just the monsters who are a threat—it's every Hunter on the map. In the classic Bounty Hunt game mode, a match pits 12 players—playing solo or in teams of two or three—against each other as they race to take out gruesome creatures for a Bounty they must collect and extract from the map. Hunt's Soul Survivor mode offers a shorter match for solo players to scavenge for weapons as they compete for a diminishing pool of Bounty. The higher the risk, the higher the reward–but a single mistake could cost you everything. Hunt: Showdown 1896 is out now on PC, PlayStation 5 and Series X|S.
