December 7, 2018
Today Game Debate announced that Hunt: Showdown has been awarded their Best Early Access Game of 2018. The Game Debate Awards are decided by popular vote, and every year, millions of gamers place have their say in award's covering 40 gaming categories. Thank you to the community for voting for Hunt!
Hunt: Showdown—a competitive first-person bounty hunting game with heavy PvE elements—has, in the year since its debut at the 2017 E3 showcase, been praised for its stunning graphics, immersive sound, and unique and memorable gameplay. Set in Louisiana, it packs the thrill of survival games into a match-based format. Hunt’s competitive, match-based gameplay mixes PvP and PvE elements to create a uniquely tense experience, and the game’s most recent update saw the addition of a new map, which you can play now both in the game's classic mode, and a brand new single player mode called Quickplay.
Every Hunt match pits up to ten players—playing solo or in teams of two, depending on the mode—against each other as they fight for bounty in the swamps of Louisiana. The higher the risk, the higher the reward–but a single mistake could cost everything.
Hunt is available now on Steam. For more information, visit https://www.huntshowdown.com/.
